Jimmy Doherty

Meet our new partner, Jimmy!

We are excited to announce our new partnership with well-known farmer and TV presenter Jimmy Doherty. We’re working with Jimmy to show everyone the fascinating craftsmanship process that goes into the production of our vinegar.

Quality and heritage are important factors in developing Sarson’s vinegar; we never compromise on taste.

We know the importance of Great British food and produce, and of knowing where your food comes from. We commissioned a survey to look into the UK’s buying habits and find out how important this is to our consumers.

We found that a third of consumers (32%) will try to buy British where possible.

A quarter (26%) consider supporting their local community when food buying, whilst another 21% think about the impact on the environment of purchasing that product.

However, there are other deciding factors to consider when food buying, from cost (61%) and taste (54%) to quality (51%).

The research for Sarson’s was carried out online by Opinion Matters between 19/09/2017 and 21/09/2017 amongst a panel resulting in 2011 UK adults.

Our brand ambassador Jimmy hit the airwaves to tell consumers all about the quality and care that goes into every bottle of Sarson’s.

Jimmy spoke about how consumers can buy quality produce at an affordable price, not the high premiums consumers tend to associate with buying British.
